7 1/2 weeks!!! I can hardly believe it. Maizy is growing so big and starting to interact with Adam and I already. She loves to play when she is awake. Her favorite... when I move her legs like she is riding a bicycle. She smiles and coos. Her smile melts me heart. She gives it a whole hearted effort... eyes, tounge and everything. And she loves to look around to see what is happening around her. She can't quite giggle yet but she is so close. She makes little cooing noises that I am sure are soon to turn to giggles. We are headed to Belgrade this weekend to see Auntie Korrie and Uncle Joe. Korrie hasn't seen her for 3 weeks or so, and she has changed so much since then. It should be a fun time. Until next time...

The last few weeks...

Wow... what an amazing 6 weeks we have had with Maizy. She is so beautiful. She has had so many adventures in the last six weeks, and she loves all of them. We have been to Bozeman to see Auntie Korrie and Uncle Joe, Billings to see Adam's family, spent the weekend in Missoula while Adam played polo, camping, boating, 4-wheeling, and fishing. Some people don't get to do that in their whole life time and Maizy is on 6 weeks old!

Yes, I will admit she might be a little spoiled. To all new mothers a word of advice... Don't let your new born baby sleep with you. I know, I know its hard not to let them sleep with you that first night you bring them home... but it's even harder to put them in thier own bed once you are used to sleeping with them!

Maizy melts our hearts more and more every day. She has grown so much in the last few weeks. She must be up to about 9 pounds now, I didn't realize that babies grew that fast. Mama is headed back to work this week. I will be working half days while Daddy and Grandma Cheryl tag team the babysitting.

Where has the time gone, I have not idea. But I do know we are treasuring every minute with our little bundle of joy. She has brought so much love you our home and I can't wait to see all the fun things we get to do together in the future.

Some words from Maizy...

Hello everyone...

My very first blog post, how fun. Just wanted to fill you in on how things are going with Mommy and Daddy and I. We are home, and I love it here. Daddy introduced me to my new pets, Stitch, Sadie, and Zoey. They all seem to love me very much, the are always checking on me when I make little peeps and noises. I think Stitch loves me the most though, he is always laying by my swing or car seat or where ever I happen to be sleeping (cause I do that alot). Daddy hasn't taken me out to meet the horses yet though, Mom says its too windy.

Here are some things I love...

I love my Mommy and Daddy (of course), I love that my grandparetns live right next door and stop and see me on their way to and from work, I love soft fuzzy blankets that my Auntie Korrie bought me, I love snack time and my green soothie binkies. I love my new SweetPeace swing and cuddling on the couch with Mommy and Daddy watching a movie. But what I really love is tooting, its almost the only thing that makes me smile.

Mommy always brags about how good of a baby I am and Daddy always tells me I am BEAUTIFUL. I guess I am a pretty lucky girl... that's what my name means by the way "Lucky".

Well it's getting late and I can't wait to cuddle in bed with my family so I better get going. Can't wait to meet you all soon!

Love,

Maizy

It's a Girl!! Maizy Jaxon Pulasky

What an amazing experience, too amazing for words. Maizy Jaxon was born May 23rd at 10:42am after a 12 hour and 2 minute labor. I am blessed! She weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and is 19 inches long.

Adam is such a good Daddy, and he loves his baby girl so much. He just sits and watches her sleep or eat or whatever she is doing. Mostly sleep and eat.

She is such a good baby. She only eats about every four hours and I have to wake her up to even get that accomplished. When she is awake she just coos and half smiles, passes a little gas and looks around with her bright eyes. Oops, out of time now. Maizy is calling for a little snack. More later!

Maternity Photos of Bumpkin

Hi all-
Just wanted to post some pics of our maternity session we had a couple of weeks ago. It was so much fun, I would recommend it to all pregnant mommies. Adam was such as ham, as I am sure you can see in the pics with the stuffed cow. I was right at 8 months when these shots were taken, so I am sure I have grow a little since then. Bumpkin is due May 28th, but I don't think I can hold on that long. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Wedding Daze!

Just wanted to post some wedding pictures for those of you who couldn't make it or who haven't seen them yet. I might be a little partial but I think it was the most beautiful wedding in the world.

We must be getting close, aren't we?

Just wanted to leave an update on how baby is coming along. Went to the doctor yesterday, Wednesday May 14th, to find out that I am still dilated to 2cm, I was there last week as well. But I have effaced to 80% which is an improvement from last weeks which was 50%. On Tuesday night I started having contractions about every 20 minutes apart, but they didn't ever get stronger or closer so we just waited them out. I went to bed around 9:30 and slept like a baby, which was nice because I haven't been sleeping well lately. As soon as I got out of bed yesterday contractions started again but seemed to be the same as the evening before so I didn't get too excited. Today things have settled down, thankfully. I know this baby is coming soon, I just don't know how soon. The super amazing ladies at our church are giving me a baby shower on Saturday so hopefully baby can hold off until after then... Sunday sounds like a good time to go into Labor, ha... if only I could predict.
